I don't smoke, I already exercise and don't drink excessively, which apart from making me sound like the most boring person on earth leaves me a little lost when it comes to making New Year resolutions. So here are some sartorial resolutions that are much more fun than kicking a few vices anywho.
One | Wear More Brights
While I am probably more colourful than your average Joanne I often fall into a bit of a neutral rut. Think khaki, navy, beige and various shades of mulberry, which as you can imagine can all get a little drab.

Josh Goot 'Relax Foam' tee | was $289.95 now $86.98
Two | Buy A Chanel Bag
You can call me superficial all you want. I need a Chanel bag and goodness I hope 2013 is the year I get one (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).

Three | Sell What I No Longer Wear
It's one of those things I always put off, but selling your unwanted clothes either at your local market (Sydneysiders I highly recommend Kirribilli Markets), on eBay or on specialty sites (like PreLoveFashion.com) will give you a little extra cash so you can clutter your wardrobe right back up.

Four | Shop More Vintage
I used to have a wardrobe full of vintage goodies, but I'm blaming excellent interational online stores for making me lazy, but this year I'm jumping back on the vintage clothes bandwagon. Watch out Etsy, you have been warned.

Vintage 1970's Motorcycle Sweater | $136.38
Five | Wear Fancy Accessories
I'm talking fancy earrings with everything, rocking your 'special occasion' heels on a Tuesday and jewelled necklaces with your daggiest old tee. Yep, this year I'm going to stop saving anything for 'good'.

ASOS 'Bird Doorknocker' earrings | $42.50
Six | Keep An Organised Wardrobe
Oh how I dream of being the proud owner of a The Coveteur-worthy wardrobe. You know the kind, all your knits store perfectly folded, one item per matching wooden hanger, shoes all kept in their boxes and shelves for your multiple Birkins.

How about you? Got any fashion New Year resolutions you care to share?
