Shoes Of Prey: The Store Has Arrived

Written by

That's right, you can now custom build your own shoes in the flesh! Or the snake skin. Or the fish leather. Or... well, you get the idea. Shoes of Prey have just opened their very first store inside Sydney City's David Jones. And holy schmoley, it is a trip! There are iPads and oodles of coloured leather and enough inspiration to leave your credit card shaking in its boots. The store even has a customised sound track and scent to go with it. That's right - a scent! Which is spritzed from amidst the shoe trees! Willy Wonka ain't got nothing on this playground. The boss lady, Jodie Fox, let me run wild and free. And run I did - right to the almost three metre high shoe sculpture. I told you it was trippy.

Tell me your inner Louboutin isn't breathing into a paper bag? I spent roughly... oh, an hour and a half rubbing leather swatches on my face and caressing each shoe individually. Try it yo'self - prices start at $159 and go up to $359, range in size from 31 through to 49 and ship free within four weeks. You can also watch a couple of super models give it a whirl too, if you like - if you haven't eaten any carbs today and are feeling pretty good about your arm definition.
