Ahh, it's good to be back. After a few weeks skiing and shopping my way around Nippon, I've learnt many things. Like the Japanese read magazines and books backwards, you should always drink your miso at the end of the meal and geisha wear two other kimonos under their dress kimono. Who knew?!
I'll have some totes amaze street style for you shortly, but in the meantime - here's my haul! Okay, some of my haul... if I put it all up my bank manager might cotton on to the fact that the loan I took out wasn't actually for bills after all. Ahem.
One | Sequin Blazer
I picked this up at a vintage store in Harajuku for 38,000 clams! Which sounds like a lot but is actually about $40. Bargain.
Two | Pottery
Handmade mugs direct from Kyoto. The sign above them read: For the many tea or beer of your enjoyment. How did they know those are two of my favourite beverages?! Uncanny.
Three | Floral Pants
You can't walk out of your door in Tokyo without tripping over a pair of floral pants at the moment. I suggest you buy up now before everyone's donning them in three months time. You can arigato me later. Hai!
Four | Sushi Erasers
I couldn't very well leave without stockpiling on fishy rubbers now, could I?

Five | Rose Gold Bangle and Neon Chain Necklace
Trend-based jewellery that's super cheap and also awesome? I'll take it!
Six | Pastel & Punch
Oh, H&M - always coming up the goods. This Tiffany blue dress and bright watermelon skirt will be on high rotation alllllll season.
Seven | Tissues
Cute Japanese tissues! The kind we pay good money for! They give these away for free all over the shop - in train stations, on the street... I snapped them up faster than Alex Perry at a model search.
Eight | Graphic Tops
The many mass-produced, cost-price fashion stores around Japan might not exactly be high couture, but damn, they sure know how to whip up a print. Besides, I'm not elitist, I'll buy from anyone.
Nine | Shoes
Despite the fact we now have Zara on our shores, I still get giddy when I see one overseas. Especially because they have sales! I got these for less than a 20-spot.

Ten | Vintage Kimonos
I'll be honest, this is pretty much why I went to Japan... My only regret? I didn't buy enough.
In fact, I'm wearing a kimono right now.
Got a sudden craving for sashimi? Want to be a Harajuku girl? Love kimonos?
