Featherlocks: Tried & Tested

Written by

So when my friend suggested I give Featherlocks a whirl, I was confused. Is this some kind of drag thing, I asked her? She assured me it wasn't. They're like hair extensions made from real feathers, she told me. You can wash them and straighten them and the bonds last for weeks and weeks on end. Oh yeah, and Heidi Klum's a fan.

Sold!

So at first I was all like, amazing - I'm going to be Steven Tyler on the cover of Rolling Stone!

But then I was all, dang - I'm really not Steven Tyler. So I thought at least I could be all neon-cool. Like this guy...

But who am I kidding? I'm not even as cool as that guy. So in the end of course I chickened out and went with something much more au natural. Now I'm all like, "What these? Oh yeah, I just like to keep some feathers there..."

What do you think? Hippie cool? Time I got my roots done? Stupendous accessory for Easter?

They start from just 10 clams and you can now get them at profesh salons around the land. Call 1300 437 436 to get in on it.
